Compiling a list of my favorite albums of the year is always a welcomed exercise, because it forces me to go back through all the albums that moved me, got me dancing, or changed my perspective over the last 12 months.

With all the attention the media is giving to this Saturday's "Judgment Day," I figured I'd take the opportunity to compile a few of my favorite 'songs of Armageddon.' Some of these are more serious than others, but I wanted to include some variety. They are not in any special order (numbers just help keep it tidy).
