Hiya!I'm gonna write a monologue about a Mississippi delta bluesman named Doc Cotton (circa 1938) who played the juke-joints (little shacks for weekend entertainment) where he's been stabbed for flirting w/ a mans wife and gets a job playing on the Mississippi Queen river boat heading for Chicago to start a new life in the industrialized city.  He sees a blues band called The Mojomen and sees an electric guitar and amplifier for the 1st. time.  He gets hired to work on the docks,  saves-up for…See More

Biography

Born in Brooklyn, NYC, raised in Forest Hills, Queens, NYC then lived in New Hope, PA where I learned guitar in '66 then moved to a cabin in the woods w/ no electricity  bordered by a 32 acre fresh water pond & 3,000 acres of state land in the Northeast Kingdom, VT and left for Barton, VT after 5 yrs. then in '93 moved to Nashville, TN and love it.

My songs are available only here and www.myspace.com/ronsuttonrocks where there are 4 original's played on a '96  National Resophonic Polychrome Tri-Cone. www.myspace.com/brodwayron contains almost everything you find here.

I plan to do a "Best Of"  Ron Sutton compilation CD soon so stay posted, thanks!

Meeting Dylan!

Limo ride w/ Dylan, David Blue & me 1965 NYC. We left Steve Paul's The Scene at 3am an' the entourage got inta 2 Limo's. I was glad t' be w/ Dylan & David Blue for a short ride t' an after hrs.
