Scott Miller of The Loud Family and Game Theory has recently died

i was a big fan of both the loud family and game theory and was sad to read of his death. i have all the albums, but the cds were hard come by. his web site is offering free downloads of the game theory releases. label issues prevented the re-release of many of the titles especially onto cd. scott was upset that you could only find these albums for very high prices on ebay and other sites so he posted these downloads for fans to once again enjoy his music in the digital age. what a generous…

Courtney Patton - "Triggering a Flood" is making waves

What a year for new music and leading the charge comes Courtney Patton with "Triggering a Flood." Released on Courtney's birthday she has given us a gift to enjoy all year. The tone is set early on with the very first cut"Twisted". Courtney's voice stands out from the start along with her talent as a songwriter. What pushes her sound over the top are the arrangements which are brilliant. This song is a builder starting simply then adding tasty guitar, percussion, and a chorus of harmony…

A Night To Remember With Holly Williams

Holly Williams/Chris Coleman with Lydia Ramsey at The Triple Door, Seattle-May 7th/13

It's been awhile since i was in Seattle, but when i saw Holly Williams was playing there in May i knew i had to go. In my humble opinion she has produced the best album so far this year and i was anxious to see her at this peak in her career.

First the venue,The Triple Door, is a place of wonder.A mixture of fine cuisine, old style setting, and the most welcoming staff and servers.

Seattle…

Thanks, Norm. I do know Maria McKee appeared on this year's album by former Lone Justice bassist Marvin Etzioni. The album is Marvin Country! and she sings harmony on "You Possess Me." Would also love to hear more from her.
