Hey Declan,

If I face the firing squad when the figurative, metaphoric revolution comes - I'll admit to owning six Declan McManus LP's (Elvis Costello's birthname). Only when I was eighteen were boozers an insignificant part of my culture. I smoked my inebriates, yeah man I grew up in the Woodstock generation, down unda in australia.

Hope you enjoy the Chew.  Shed Sessions is a nice quirky concept as you'll see from their web site.  Only been to 3 gigs in August (one of which was the Jayhawks great show in London).  And in one of the volte faces to end all volte faces I took a chance on the Joanna Newsom 3CD set which was being sold off by Maverick for £7 and surprised myself by liking it; she's had the rough edges sanded off her voice (or the producer did it!)  Did the emusic downloads yesterday, one of which is a promising soundind new record by Jonathan Howie and the Rosewood Bluffs.  I'll give you a listen when I'm next in Dublin (next week, if you're around).
