Adela & Jude – Will Sing for Food

Adela and Jude come from families where farming was a big part of our heritage, and our musical style, our social commitments naturally led us to performing at farmer’s markets.   To us,  playing three hours of music to people who enjoy it, watching the interactions at the market is one of the most wonderful musical events we can dream of.   From toddlers who start dancing to 80 year olds who tap there can to tune that draws up a dusty old memory,  it is one of the driving forces behind what we…See More

Tomorrow the World, in 30 minutes....

Well Adela & I have been travelling - not as much as some hard-core road bands - but we do our fair share.  We like to take our time, wander the backroads, setting up shows that allow us to travel more of the old highway systems than the new interstates.

Did you know: North-to-south highways are odd-numbered, with lowest numbers in the east and highest numbers in the west. Similarly, west-to-east highways are even-numbered, with the lowest numbers in the…

Why Adela & Jude tour small towns.

Like most small time artists, our budgets are pretty slim when it comes to things farming out things like booking shows, hiring PR agents and getting ahold of radio stations, and all that.   It's time vs. money right?  Well, yesterday was a good one - Adela & I have Jun, Jul, Sept, Oct & Dec tour booking in progress - all at the same time.

That night was spent at the wonderful Pennsylvania Highway Rest Stop.   Maybelle is our newest member of the Adela & Jude family –…
