Pittsburgh might be the only large city where you have to brake for wild turkeys. I once saw one at an actual crosswalk and it made my day. It's also a city full of green hillsides, acres of parks and an actual herd of deer that live in a walled cemetery in the middle of the city (for real). So it should be no surprise that a band called City Dwelling Nature Seekers hails from that gem of the Rust Belt.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Perhaps not the first place you think of when you thinking of teeming indie scenes or even Americana music. But why not? It's the dog days of summer and Virginia band The Steel Wheels are about to embark on an epic journey traversing 3 states. Touring is not new to this band-- a quick perusal of their concert calendar shows that they're on the road more often than off, but this tour is a little bit different.
