Tears of the Moosechaser was formed in 2008 as a volatile performing ensemble bent on wiping dirt on the face of commercial music. Borrowing from a slew of genres from Folk Bluegrass to Industrial Metal, TotM has become considered Avant-Americana, Apocalyptic Country, and a variety of other genre bending nature/vagabond musics. This fusion of wood and rusty metal has resulted in their debut album "Songs for a Sinister Woman" released in August 2010 after a long process of writing, creating and gathering inspiration. The group is based out of the hills of Los Angeles, and is currently booking and performing shows throughout Southern California in support of "Songs for a Sinister Woman."
