When we arrived for the meet and greet at the Bumbershoot booth we did not know what to expect. We were met with warmth and excitement from the staff there. This final one (for this tour, not for good, not by a long shot) finds us in Portland, OR at The Hawthorne Theater. A grungy, divey music venue with an epic stage and walls plastered with band posters and the sweat and grime of the theaters many past concert goers. Only ten-fifteen of which came out for our show. We spent last night (Saturday May 15th) in Fremont at the beautiful old church known as the Fremont Abbey sharing the stage again with Kasey Anderson and our good friends Sadie and The Crooked Road for a night of acoustic music. Unlike most acoustic shows we’ve played in the recent past, last night we were joined with the other two members of the laughing dogs. Here we are in sunny Spokane for our show at Empyrean Coffee with Kasey Anderson. I'm very excited and looking forward to next weekend! We get to share the stage with the Dusty 45's thur. 13th at Raw Space in Ellensburg, WA. My home town! I remember seeing the Dusty's play in Ellensburg back when we had Gust Fest. They played both years. Aside from seeing my friend drink too much coffee and throw up and getting hit in the back of the head with a pot pipe, The Dusty 45's were the highlight! Billy Joe knows how to put on a show!
