Shawn...I've enjoyed reading your comments regarding the new Wilco effort and also your thought on the  whole Jeff Tweedy/Jay Farrar relationship. I love Wilco and pretty much everything they have done but also feel the same about Jay Farrar. One thing that can be said about Farrar is that he stayed true to his alt-country roots. I certainly wouldn't classify anything Wilco has done as alt-country but I still love their music nonetheless. I too have Read Learning How To Die and I find myself fascinated at the relationship Tweedy and Farrar had and exactly what went wrong and who was to blame. I am thankful that there once was a group named Uncle Tupelo and that two outstanding groups were formed after the breakup. Trace might be the best album I have ever purchased. I am going to see Jay Farrar in Bellinghman WA next month... can't wait. Cheers!
