Hey right on Iaan!

I just got home from work. I was so lame to have such a fantastic time at the studio and then go to work till seven!

We also have gotten tons of positive feedback from the show. It's surprised us how many people tuned in that we haven't talked to in ages. We've gotten a lot of calls and emails. My parents even tuned in down in Portland, OR. And folks from around the country tuned in who heard about it via Asthmatic Kitty's twitter feed. It's also cool to expose so many folks to KBCS.

I even got a call from a friend who just wanted to bitch about how hard his life is right now. He and his girlfriend each work six days a week and barely have a pot to piss in...and they're expecting a baby! Yeesh! I'm thinking of labeling Shannon's music 'recession folk.'

Shannon listed to the archive when she got home (I gave her the afternoon off ;)) and she was really pleased with the interview and her performance despite her nerves.

Hope you enjoy the veggies and the McKibben book! The first part of his book is a bit of a downer but the rest is full of hope!
