Mike, I don't know Larry, but I'm sure I've heard his name.

Received your CD. Really enjoying it. The Art Center is interested in having you come out for a concert. I'll get back to you with details.

Saw the article about you in the DMN. Had to come over to listen to your music. Good stuff. How does one acquire a CD?

Thanks for dropping by, I liked your stuff too.
There doesn't seem to be enough artists on No Depression that put their music on their page, I'm glad you did.
Thanks for stopping by in your search for music. I have posted a few of the songs off of my first CD titled “The Summit Ridge Session.” Feel free to leave a comment, ask a question or simply slide through undetected.

I have spent a life time listening to some of the most amazing singer songwriters in the world. I don’t care much for what passes on the radio for music these days, but I do spend a lot of time looking for what I consider to be great writers. Back in the day the question wasn’t, “Are they any good?” The question was, “What do they have to say?” I think today the foremost question is, “What do they sound like?” which misses the entire point of making roots music. A friend once told me, “People won’t remember what they hear, they will remember how you made them feel.”

I am influenced by great storytellers; Verlon Thompson, Guy Clark, Amos Lee, Steve Earl, Roger Miller, Tom T Hall, David McMillan, David Hearne. There are really too many to name, and I can think of many more, but I hope you get the picture.

I hope you enjoy what you hear. If not, check back in a few weeks and we’ll see if I have added anything to the mix.
