This weeked is a no-no for me because of family commitment, I plan to invest in a laptop so that internet is available from more than one room in the house. Hope you have a good show, will try again next week . Cheers Catriona x

Sing for me - yeh - that'd be good - people really should sing more to bring a bit of joy into each others lives. As to the drink - that would be good too - except I've got too old to drink (too many "I'll never do that again mornings" waking up hugging the wastepaper basket! and discovering the damn this was made of wicker work - yuck!!) - but I'll sink an orange and tonic with anyone! 90% of the time happy - that's asking a heck of a lot - that's the glass full to overflowing - I'm happy when its 60% full of quiet contentment - then there is always the hope that something wonderful will happen. 90% happy - no - things can only get worse and old blokes get "crabbit"!

Me I like the simple things in life - and "in tune" guitar (especially when someone is playing and I'm listening!) a nicely filled folk club, a wild stab at a high E and hitting it (well almost ) - a tune when it bounces out of my concertina buttons, a calm cool evening when camping, nothing to do after a really nice meal, my daughter saying thank you for something (anything!), watching the dogs backsides wagging as they walk ahead of me finding wonderful things to smell, chatting to a teenager to doesn't consider me a boring old fart although I obviously am - oh and waking up in the morning and not having to read to obituaries to see if I'm still alive. Yeah - the real joy of getting old is that there is so much joy to be found in the little things of life - took me sixty years to find that out - all those years wasted chasing impossible dreams when I should have see I already had them. No wonder I'm Crabbit! So much happiness waste on worrying!
Live, breath, enjoy the moment - wonderful.
And I really am a crabbit boring old fart!

Hi Mary ...
Probably not as "crabit" as I pretend ... it depends on how you find me ! I think its easier to be honest - saves explanations later! I'm really a warm hearted fellow who suffers fools very badly ...
