I'm 23 and the Truckers are my favorite band. They have been for a number of years and I just caught them for my 10th time in Philly. Good music is timeless...then again most of the music I listen to has got 20 years on me.

The DBT/Lucero/Langhorne show at the Electric Factory was a great time! Although I missed most of Langhorne (personal preference) the other bands were fantastic as always. I spent some time before the show at JD McGillicuddy's, the bar just…

The Band albums are both great. Occasionally at Levon's Midnight he'll play a track or two. When you get to the bottom of it...every stage of The Band was filled with incredible musicians...so there will always be a handful of songs…

Herd of Main Street

My boyfriend is in a Baltimore-based Americana/Blues/Rock/Country band called the Herd of Main Street. They've been playing all over the Baltimore area for nearly two years, and are definitely worth checking out. This year they put out their first release Hearts, Roads, & Tears. Listen to them on 89.7 WTMD or check out their Myspace.
