the world wide web as the new record label
There is a lot of hub bub out about the web replacing the traditional music label. This news has been heralded by many indie artists (myself included) as the savior of our kind. Some days I feel a fire in my belly and nothing can get in my way. For those that did't make it, the Twang Nation show was fantastic! A great showcase of local Americana tallent. Porkchop Express, Mars Arizona, and Jenny Kerr Band all killed it. I am looking forward to the next jamboree.

You once invited me to your show at Johnny V's but I was unable to go. I wanted to let you know that I saw a short write-up on you and your music a while back in a local San Jose newspaper called the Metro. If I remember correctly, one (or some) of your song(s) was used in a movie. Great!! Anyway, people are aware of your music.
I was wondering if you could let me know a few of your influences. I think Justin Townes Earle is one of them. I have a number of albums by his father, Steve Earle (His latest his called "Townes", a tribute to Townes Van Zandt), and if you recommend it, I'll get Justin Townes Earle's album, too. I hope you can let me know who else you like.
If you have ever release an album, please let me know, as I'll be sure to get it.
