David Williams and Wildgrass is a new group featuring some of the finest musicians on the Colorado Front Range. Fronted by Emmy winning songwriter, multi-instrumentalist David Williams, Wildgrass is an experiment in music fusion, bringing together accomplished musicians from the worlds of folk, bluegrass, swing and jazz. As a singer-songwriter, Williams is known for his way with words and melodies that conjure up the American musical landscape. These 15 all-original songs by Williams are stories of everyday living, touching on love, nostalgia, wanderlust and grief.
Featured artists on The Crazy Kind are Williams on guitar and vocals, Kristina Murray on guitar and vocals, Chris Elliott on banjo (of Spring Creek, and Rockygrass winner), Jordan Ramsey on mandolin (Long Road Home and Rockygrass winner), Katie Glassman on fiddle (two-time Weiser fiddle champion) and Duane Webster on bass. Band members all met at the Lyons Bluegrass Jam held every Tuesday night at Oskar Blues in Lyons, CO.

I'm hoping to do a motorcycle trip out your way some time in the not-too-distant future. Did two Chicago trips last year to see how well I could do.
