Artists from around the globe

Americana and Alt Country is of course a music style made in the United States and is mainly dominated by American/Canadian musicians. However, there are some great artists coming out of Europe and other parts of the world. Discuss here :)

Lots of news

I haven't posted anything on No Depression for a long time. I seem to get bogged down with FB, Twitter, Google+, Web Site and other stuff. But over the past year things have been going well and I have just been reminded by an email, just what a cool site this is.

So news, after the release of my first album, I did a self funded tour of Holland and Belgium and was put in touch with Black and Tan Records up there in Holland. I signed with them and they asked me for a solo…

Spontaneous composition.

Hi guys

We all know that song writing/composing is a skill that is honed over many years and a lot of rubbish has to be cut to find the good stuff. However, there are days, few and far between in my case, but there are days when inspiration strikes and something gets created in an instant. I had one of those days yesterday.

I used to do a lot of yoga but since writing and recording my debut album as a solo artist I didn't do any, until the day before yesterday (Saturday). On Saturday… Continue
