DKHtown commented on Adam Sheets's blog post 'An open letter to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum'

I really dig that Mavis and Tweedy recorded the new record with her road band. Those ladies and gents can flat-out play. I've had the extreme pleasure of seeing Mavis twice in the past few months. Can't wait for the album on Tuesday.

I've always been a big fan of Lynne's and bought every record since I Am Shelby Lynne, her breakout hit from quite a few years ago. I particularly loved her last album, the Dusty Springfield tribute Just A Little Lovin'.Her latest is a wonderful synthesis of the many strengths she's honed over the past few albums. However, I think Tears, Lies and Alibis is her finest set of songs to date, complemented from some…See More

The Millers are an American treasure. I've gotten to know Buddy a little bit just by turning up at a lot of shows. He's one of the nicest, most humble people you're ever likely to meet. Julie is healer. There's something about…

Buddy & Julie Miller - 'Written In Chalk' (review)

It's tough for me to review Buddy & Julie Miller's new album Written In Chalk outside of the context of their larger body of work, which includes five Buddy solo albums, two Julie solo records (not including her previous Contemporary Christian albums), and a self-titled duo album. Though Written In Chalk is only their second co-billed album, everything with the Miller name on it since Julie's last CCM album Orphans & Angels has more or less been a joint effort, with Julie providing much…See More
