August 23rd, 2009 - Luckenbach Texas attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Guitar Ensemble. Luckenbach is known world wide for it's laid back state of mind. Pickin for the Record at Luckenbach Texas

Help us break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Guitar Ensemble. The record is held by the Germans with 1803 players. Help us break this record on AUg 23rd. We need 2000 players to pre-register NOW. All proceeds form this event go to the Voices of a Grateful Nation Project which supports our Vets.Amateurs welcome. Ray Wylie Hubbard's first Festival Grit n Groove in Luckenbach Texas

It's been a long time coming. It's not that Ray has never been asked to do a festival. It's just that Ray likes to do things his way. So far, he has made some pretty good choices. He has a successful music career that spans decades. Most recently, he has written a screenplay which was filmed in Canada this past year by an Indie.
