Morning all! Just wanted to let you know that Lowlands have now relaunched their website to coincide with the UK release of their new album 'Beyond' on Stovepony Records...  http://www.lowlandsband.com/. Keep an eye on it for news, videos, tourdates and free downloads. Talking of dates, they are of course playing three acoustic shows in London in February.  See below...

I’m not really given over to plugging acts but in Sara Petite’s case I’ll make an exception. She’s got her new album funding going on kickstarter trying to get to $12,000 for the cost of producing, recording, manufacturing and distributing her new (4th) album on her own Sweet Pea label.
She comes from (IIRC) the mountains in Washington state but has lived and played around San Diego for several years now. I’ve been a fan since her first record but didn’t get to see her live until 2010 when she turned up at the Luminaire (RIP). Her boyfriend (and drummer) died of cancer last year. It took Sara a bit of time to get back into music after that and made it over here earlier this year for a few dates up and down the country. She was featured on Bob Harris’s country show in the spring.
Her music never fails to put a smile on my face.
OK plug over and apologies for the waste of bandwidth for the uninterested.

Morning! Couple of things to mention: Lowlands' UK tour starts tomorrow in Newport. Full dates below.

Also, I'm currently booking fates for Stiv Cantarelli - you might have heard his last album 'Innerstate', on which he was backed by Richmond Fontaine. If you're a venue or promoter interested in booking Stiv Cantarelli and The Silent Strangers between 18 and 23 Feb, please PM me. There's a video on their Facebook page www.facebook.com/stivcantarelliandthesilentstrangers and a link to more tracks on Bandcamp. Cheers!
