Comment by Alan Harrison on February 18, 2011 at 8:22am hey; don't get me wrong - I sympathise; but for someone to join the board to just to plug an artist appears cheeky to me.
I post my reviews on this site a) to appease my own vanity and b) help promote a few artists who I think need a break.
But I'd like to think that I play a reasonably active part in the whole ND Community - I'm now off to discover Daniel Pearson! So your 'blatant plug' worked :)

Comment by SaintInTheCity on February 18, 2011 at 7:18am I know...sorry! Don't hold it against us.
As a tiny label we have to rely on word of mouth and forums are an excellent place to generate some...we don't have £100K to sopend on marketing and expensive PR - so apologies if we have to sometimes drop the odd plug here and there. I can empathise with your hatred of spammers!
Hopefully the quality of the free music will offset any ruffled feathers :)
Comment by Alan Harrison on February 18, 2011 at 5:59am Dear Saint;
I can't speak on behalf of anyone else here - but 'blatant plugging' is a little bit cheeky don't you think? Or is that just the romantic in me?
Comment by SaintInTheCity on February 18, 2011 at 5:57am Hi guys,
Hope you don't mind a newbie shoehorning their way onto the comment board...
DANIEL PEARSON, a UK singer songwriter on our label, is releasing new material next month after the success of his debut album in 2010. You can download a new song FOR FREE by stopping by his Bandcamp page...we think you'll like his stuff if you're into Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes, Caitlin Rose, The National and other great music!
Point your mouses in this direction - Daniel Pearson BandCamp
Or listen to more from his first album here - Daniel Pearson Facebook
Thanks! :)
Comment by Gerry Mule on February 12, 2011 at 11:20am Here's a big plug for Lowlands, from Pavia, Italy, who are over for three dates in March (details at link). Londoners might have been lucky enough to see them at The Windmill a couple of times previously, but this time they're playing Norwich and Newport (as well as come Down And Meet The Folks and a House of Mercy sesh). They've got a new album Gypsy Child on the way - their debut got 9/10 on Americana UK.

Comment by Shawna Cooper Management on February 11, 2011 at 6:29pm First Official Video by Toronto's newest buzz band "NEW COUNTRY REHAB"
whatya think? Â The second one is from their CD release and while the visual isn't good the the energy might explain why the media is calling them the best live band in Toronto!
Â
Enjoy!
