B.W Stevenson has been one of Texas greatest songwriters that has been forgotten. One of the most memorable B.W.Stevenson moments for me was introducing him at Poor Davids Pub in Dallas on his 36th birthday. Do you have a memorable moment that you had with Buck? Please share.

I have to confess that I am not familiar with his work. I will have to try and track down some of his work and check it out. I do love Poor Davids Pub though. Great venue!
A couple of my favorite songs of his are "On My Own" and "Texas Morning".
"On My Own" was always a show stopper everytime I saw B.W. perform!
You can buy some of B.W's music at CD Universe. I loved Poor Davids Pub when it was on lower Greenville. If you are familiar with the Brooks and Dunn song "My Maria" then you know at least one song written by B.W. His widow recieved the songwriting roylaties on this cover. She doesn't have to work anymore.
I knew him back in the early 70's when he would be a frequent visitor at the Rubiyat Club in Dallas. My cousin and B.W. were pretty good friends at one point, and I believe they even shared a place in Highland Park for a short time. Mike, my cousin, was the front man for The Galactic Cowboy Band back then.
Mike and I went to high school together. Didn't know he knew B.W. Where is Mike now. Haven't seen him in about 27 years, when he lived in The Colony. Would any of you be interested in seeing a book on BW and his songs with chords, tabs and all?
Yes I would Andy...who is Mike?
When I moved to Austin in 1974, the only person I knew was B.W.'s steel player. Because of this I was around for lots of things, including rehearsals. At that time, the late Poodie Locke, well known as Willie's main roadie, was working for Buckwheat.
Any other details await the expiration of the Statue of Lamentions.
The guy that played harp on B.W.'s Lonesome Song (one of my favorites) plays harp for Willie now.
