This group is an long overdue blessing. Don't why I didn't start it myself - with all my ranting and raving (about how Americana & Roots music falls between the cracks here in Norway) .... There are so many of my colleagues that should be here. I'll do my best to get them to them off there butts (f.eks. Lars Haavard Haugen, Jonas Fjeld, Knut Reiersrud, Henning, etc Kvitnes, Claudia Scott.)

I look forward to some great discussions here. BTW .... I understand that a new organization, Norsk American Forum has recently been established in Oslo. Let's see what else the coming of spring brings!!

My wife is Norwegian background, and I love Jonas Fjeld mainly through his work with Anderson and Danko. Thanks for having me, and please check out my No Depression groups, Gram Parsons Project Board and Area Code 615 (Nashville), and a new one soon to be (Buffalo Heard, my hometown).
