I have a few suggestions to help make NEAF successful, maybe others do too.

- it would be good to see the schedule on the website. I saw it posted on this site, but still don't see it on the website

- the rock social is a good idea. I might go also. You might want to have some printed material for that

- you'll want to get some blog interest. I think Boston Band Crush and Ryan's Smashing Life could help. They'll probably be at the social

- I don't use facebook, but I can help spread the word on twitter. You need to update the twitter profile (add NEAF logo, description and website in the profile). If you need some help, let me know.

- I mentioned NEAF to Joan Hathaway from WMBR's Three Ring Circus (radio show). She put it on her shows list, but would like more specifics: http://www.audioe.com/circus/events.html

- I like the music and music player on the website, but generally prefer websites that don't auto-play music

- be sure to follow/friend those that follow/friend you

I do use Facebook, probably more than this. Noel, if you create an event and let us know how to find it, I will forward it to friends.
Actually, to follow up on that thought, if you create the event as a single event and ask all bands that are playing to invite their followers, you will probably get a big list.
With some prodding I finally created a separate Facebook page for the Gram National 2010 Boston. If you want to use it as a model (believe me you've got a lot of other things to do than this social networking, I'd take Jeff up on his offer to use Twitter - he's very good at it!). Here's my new FB page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Gram-National-2010/267975977963. If you also have a ReverbNation, one neat thing is you can, with some effort, bring it into the FB page as a tab: My Band.
We're working on getting the schedule up on the website. I agree - needs to be on there.

Boston Band Crush and Ryan's have the word, waiting for the blogging to begin.

We'll take all the help we can get with the Twitter - that's definitely been a neglected one.
