Hi Skot,

I suppose due to economic times, we lost a couple of venues in the fall including The Vancouver Rowing Club and The Railway. They are both taking about bringing back the show in the spring. Meanwhile we do continue to run a monthly show at The Yard, including a great show this evening MONDAY JAN 30th 9pm start - JOHN MACARTHUR ELLIS, MARK JAMES FORTIN, MATT ROSE and MATT LAYZELL of THE MATINEE! Hey Bruce:

What goes on with Vancouver City Limits these days? I was semi-regularly attending Friday nights at the Rowing Club but have lost touch with the schedule. I'm in a "not doing Facebook" mode for the last several months and I was having trouble keeping track of groups/pages/etc

So is there a regular set of dates/venues these days?

new to ND, so a late reply to Arthur asking about good Canadian music:
christine fellows' femmes de chez nous. it is almost a year old now, but beautiful and strikingly original. her husband, john k samson, has a new album calledprovincial dropping in january, which will be a gorgeous album. other great canadian artists i've been listening to (not necessarily new, though): the good lovelies, oh my darling, ruth moody, little miss higgins, del barber, romi mayes... if you can't tell, i'm a prairie girl at heart.
