Hello all!

Jeff here from SweetKiss Momma. We are set to release our 2nd album "A Reckoning Is Coming" in the near future, and are curious if anyone would like a copy for review.

Our previous album "Revival Rock" was released in 2010, and went on to be the top selling album in both the "Roots Rock" and "Southern Rock" sub-genres via CD Baby.com for more than a year, while peaking as the #2 selling "Rock" (genre-specific) album, and twice reaching in to the Top-10 in overall sales. We feel that we have grown as songwriters and musicians since then, and that this new album genuinely reflects that.

"A Reckoning Is Coming" was recorded in December of last year at Nashville's Creative Workshop Studio (home to platinum recordings from Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Jimmy Buffet, Leon Russel, Merle Haggard, and many others, as well as the location of Elvis' last recording session). It was produced by Ken Coomer (longtime drummer for both Wilco and Uncle Tupelo before turning to Production and studio work full-time) and mastered by Richard Dodd (Multi-Grammy winner for his work with Tom Petty, Delbert McClinton, and The Dixie Chicks).

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

P.S. I've added a few of the new tracks to the player on our page...

@Tim M. Otto - I'm always keen to learn more about Tom Waits.  Is there somewhere we can read your blog post?

@modernacoustic - Hi - I just tried clicking on the link to your blog post but it didn't work.  Is there a problem with the link or could you perhaps post the actual web address?  Always keen to hear new music :-)

My music blog is jayjayemgee although I am thinking of changing the name.  Not exactly catching is it, unless you know my initials. Happy to have you follow me
