Hey ya'll. Midpoint Music Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary this weekend in Cincinnati. Lots of great music going on downtown. Make sure to check out local groups like Shiny and the Spoon tonight at Arnolds or The Tillers at the Blue Wisp. Magnolia Mountain with the Felice Brothers on Saturday. Lots and lots of other great music in the Queen City

Just discovered your group.  I would like to pass on some music opportunities.  Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis will be in DeWitt, Iowa on the evening of October 15.  Tickets @ www.midwestix.com.  Guy Clark will be in Cascade the night of November 19 - call 563-852-3432.  Both promise to be great shows.

Return to Normal's new CD, Overflown is now available on Bandcamp at RETURN TO NORMAL. It features ten songs in the New Folk style, recorded at our home in North Judson Indiana, and mastered by Jon Huxstable at Smallfishrecordings, Ashford Britain, UK. We're joined by Dirk Shorter on bass.

We try to maintain the heart of the folk tradition -- songs about other people's lives. You'll find a story about an auto plant worker who left behind a legacy of outsider art (Joe Casey), the unlikely team-up of Oolat and a honey guide bird (Beehunter), and the happy, if confused life of a boy named Sin and a girl named Chaos (Peppermint Garden). Hey, not sure if any of you are aware of this compilation that is going to be released on Feb 12th. It is just an amazing line up of artists that have written a lot of new music to raise awareness of the danger, damage, and destruction of mountain top removal... Music For The Mountains

Doesn't really matter how you feel about MTR, you'll find some amazing music from this region's artists on this disc.

Hi folks, I have a little production company over here in Cincinnati and we've been around for about 10 years making albums, recording and video taping live shows, etc. We recently got our radio station back up and running. The station features just about everything we've ever been involved with (by permission from the artists of course). If you are wanting to hear something different, I'm sure you'll agree we have had a chance to work with some great artists over the years. Lots of roots oriented music, country, alt-country, jam, jazz, rock, etc. We're adding more and more as it gets released. Stop by and give us a listen!

Here's the link Mind Ignition Radio

Cheers

For those of you who have broadcast quality, recorded music, written by you, look up the attached link for information on getting your music on KC Cafe Radio.  This internet station has lots of followers and is run very professionally.  They look for music that would be enjoyed in a coffee shop-style setting.  These folks also do a great job of promoting musicians playing in the Kansas City area.  KC Cafe Internet Radio
