MEDICINE in the modern sense is perceived to be a treatment for ailment, but in the ancient sense particularly in the minds of Native Americans, medicine is all that is good in nature connecting the spirit world with the physical. The Medicine of music can be a direct connection with all it is to be human and also our best prescription for the disconnecting-ailments of our modern culture"

Comment by The Medicine Show on December 15, 2012 at 11:23am This week’s live Health and Happiness Show on ABC Radio of Alness has a decidedly Swedish Festive feel. Our featured album is The John Lindenberg Trio “Rock This Christmas”. Also look out for Swedish contributions from Christopher Börjars, Sofie Jonsson, and The Plastic Pals.
Sundays Noon (GMT) till 2pm
The Medicine Show Face Book Social Club meets here.
With their last two albums, ”Made For Rock n Roll” (2011) and ”Hell Of A Ride” (2012), along with constantly being on the road, performing over 150 gigs a year – no wonder John Lindberg Trio’s fanbase has grown at an impressive pace!
JLT represents the essence of a true Rockabilly band – drums, up-right bass, and electric guitar and delivers a massive soundscape.
The majority of the songs on “Rock This Christmas” are new and stray from your typical mainstream Christmas music. The trio delivers a hard Christmas album presented with grace and feeling.
For the last couple of years, the band has played their way to success and has become known for their energetic performances. JLT's Christmas shows have been played at packed venues for years and this Christmas the band is taking the show on the road again.
