Welcome Simon,

There are plenty of scenes in London. Try out  these two for starters:

Hey people

I'm an alt.country singer/songwriter and I'm moving to London around Christmas.  I need some nights/venues to come play on. Paid gigs, open mics and sit in sessions gratefully accepted.  I'd like to become part of a nice scene if there's one around.

Cheers

Si

Am I allowed to tell everyone about my radio show? I will anyway .. it's called "London Calling with Mandolin Jack" on CMR Nashville ... it's on today, Wednesday, you can find the links of Facebook. My aim to provide exposure to songwriters from the UK (although I do drift into songwriters from over the pond). If you are a songwriter based in the UK feel free to contact me. I also cover this on behalf of the NSAI for which I am the London coordinator. Thanks for listening!

Did any of you guys get to see the Punch Brothers or Alison Krauss at the Paul Simon gig at Hyde Park. As an ex-Londoner now living in Miami I felt extremely jealous. I'll just have to make do with the South Florida Bluegrass Association Jam on August 5th!

I've sent the link, however I didn't receive a notification that you'd accepted. I've checked my spam folder and there's nothing there either.

No matter, you have it now.
