We had a great time playing the last Barn Dance (9/7) at Joe's. Terrific crowd - lot's of dancers. And Ronnie seemed pretty excited too. Big improvement from El Cid - although I miss the convenience factor.

El Cid has new owners that want to make it more of a 'dance club'. The lovely and talented Jeff Gore just threw an event at El Cid and they were not showing the love for the roots crowd. Ronnie Mack is better off where he is appreciated!

yes...the barndance has moved out to Burbank. I did the show last month, and it is all for the best. the new room is big, the parking is easy, the valley folks now have a place to go, and imo it sounds way better than El Cid.

Go Ronnie Mack Go.
