Hey Iaan, where are you? You have not been on the air and Marty Bisch keeps saying that the Thursday slot is now revolving hosts. What happened? You have been the last shining light. I miss your show.

Thanks,

Steve

The Starlings will be playing Friday, Sept 3rd over at Conor Byrne in Ballard with The Blackberry Bushes Stringband (their cd release). Going to be a great time. This is our tour send-off show: heading out to a couple dozen dates in the American West. Check out the schedule here. Thanks to KBCS for being such genuine support for local music!

Community radio is the untamed frontier of media. If it's great, we do it first. If it's great, we still do it after it's done.

Thursday on The Outskirts Membership Drive - The Gourds, Loretta Lynn, Iris Dement, Alison Krauss & Robert Plant, Eleni Mandell and live music from Country Dave and Zoe Muth. Sweet. It don't cost much, but it does cost a little. If you listen pony up please. Call 425-564-5000 or online at www.kbcs.fm I'll be kissing babies between 12noon-3pm!
