ND is going to be on Cayamo yet again in 2011, with Kim facilitating a talk on Women in Music (with some VERY special guests - you won't want to miss it), and a He said/She said with Lee Zimmerman about love songs. There will also be a No Depression meetup. Here are details:

Monday 12:30-1:30pm - Spinnaker Lounge - He said/She said discussion about great love songs with Kim Ruehl and Lee Zimmerman

Tuesday 12:30-1:30pm - Spinnaker Lounge - Women in Music discussion with Kim Ruehl (and some special guests!)

Tuesday 5-6pm - Bar City - No Depression community party.

My wife and I decided that we will have to be on an every 2 or 3 year program as far a Cayamo is concerned. If the Lottery comes through and we're somehow able to go in that really big cabin, you would be welcome on the couch! But I wouldn't hold my breathe for that to happen...

For all you folks going in 2012, I am unabashedly jealous--you will have a fantastic time!

If I could afford to go and just hang out as a vacation, that'd be different, but can't swing that. Bummer! The lineup is pretty fantastic, as usual.

Loudon Wainright, Richard Thompson and John Prine, along with Buddy Miller and Patty Griffin, and Steve Earle and Allison Moorer and Brandi Carlile and the Indigo Girls...and Chuck Cannon and Scott Miller and Sam & Ruby and Enter the Haggis and WPA and and and a whole bunch more than my poor little fried brain can recall....how much great music CAN you stuff onto one boat? Aparently ALOT! Thank you Cayamo and Sixthman, that was incredible!
