Besides chicken wings, snow, great architecture, and beef on 'weck, Buffalo is known for one other thing: music.

Comment by Michael W. Tinsmon on January 17, 2012 at 1:59pm Flatbed would be up for a Gram-themed event, I'm sure.....
Comment by Will James on January 17, 2012 at 1:07pm David, perhaps we could team up on this for Buffalo. I'm doing Toronto, Boston and Nashville again for GIN V. I was thinking maybe Nietzsche's. More on venue and band wish list/requirements at http://graminternational. wordpress.com. Every event I've done has been a whole lot of fun (in addition to a lot of work).
Comment by David Meinzer on January 17, 2012 at 1:01pm I was co-organizer of 3 different Gram Parsons nights in Buffalo, one at Nietzsche's almost 20 years ago, another in 1998 at the Mohawk Place, and one a few years after that at the Sportsmen's. The first two were great fun but the last didn't come off well and I haven't had the inclination to make another attempt. Maybe someday.

Comment by Will James on January 17, 2012 at 10:50am Nice stuff Michael. Don't know if you guys would be interested in playing a Gram InterNational V Buffalo; wants for venue and bands at http://graminternational.wordpress.com. I've done them in three countries and a bunch of cities... except my hometown! (The "share this post" link just seems to take me to my FB newsfeed or whatever they call it now.)
Comment by John Smith on December 24, 2011 at 9:34am Hey Buffalo...ring in the New Year at the Town Ballroom with Lowest of the Low...one of the first alt bands around...and still rockin'. We'll be there.
Comment by Ben Clarke on December 4, 2011 at 7:41pm Hey people, on the way down to Nashville from B-lo with Alan Whitney, Timmy P and the Healing Committee Band to record with Jim Reilly and Jeff Coomer and play a show at the Rutledge for the Billy Block show. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/adubmusic/adub-and-timmy-ps-nas...
