Very Cool Erwin Thanks!  I love to travel and seek out the Blues Clubs in town.  I found one in Cork Ireland years ago --"Mojo's".  And of course quite a few around the United States.  I love the little juke joints in Missippi.  I am in the process of creating a juke joint in my home basement room, where I am sure I too will be spending mor time watching, listening and playing Blues.

SLAINTE!

Tommy,

there are, yes (http://www.brbc.be/ for instance), but I'm more in the category of the listeners who like to enjoy music from their seat at home. I made an exception though a few months ago for a performance of BB King.

cheers,

erwin

Again, check out PaulRischell & Annie Rains. A few tears ago they rc'd best acoustic blues award- they cover Joe C, MS. Sheiks, Ch Patton- Great picker harp duo. I have seen them several times and more impressed each gig. They play alot w/ John Sebastian. Gus's Ghost tribute to Gus Cannon. To me they reign in the top layer and stay true to that genre. Alot of great musicians will cover a few blues, only to return to their safety zone. Maybe unfair crit, but we are talking Delta/Piedmont Acoustic blues here.
