Comment by Kurt Fortmeyer on May 13, 2013 at 6:39pm My honkytonk tribute to the Georges..."Dickel, Strait & Jones".
Comment by Katharine Richardson on April 12, 2013 at 8:45am Free download of an exclusive live track from John Oates. A cool version of an old Hall & Oates song recorded live at the Franklin Theatre.
Comment by Bob Binkley on January 8, 2013 at 7:27am If you live in or around the Nashville area (and even if you don't), go to The Loveless Cafe Barn on any Wednesday night for "Music City Roots". For $10 ($5 with a student ID) you will see & hear 4 or 5 great Americana/Folk/Roots/Bluegrass/Country/Alt-Country artists for about 2 1/2 hours. The absolute best $10 concert you will ever attend. It's even streamed live on radio station WRLT (Lightnin' 100) starting at 7:00pm CST.
Comment by Phil Lee on December 4, 2012 at 9:29am Seasonal Greetings
Please find Phil Lee Christmas Song plus a preview from the forthcoming album for download on Soundcloud. The album is again is produced and features the great Richard Bennett (Niel Diamond, Dire Straits) and is titled “The Fall & Further Decline of The Mighty King Of Love”, and Phil and his music will appear in a new movie to be released next year, indeed titled “The Mighty King Of Love”.
Comment by Tommy Hall on November 20, 2012 at 4:28pm can't wait to move to this great city of NASHVILLE as of MAY 2013.....
Comment by Dan Eubanks on October 5, 2012 at 5:57am Haven't been here in awhile, but wanted to let the group know about a unique collaborative effort that performs once a month at Douglas Corner called Down on the Corner. We are a group of players who write and perform our own music and bring in guests to either play with us, or your own musicians, or on your own. It's not quite a round, not quite a jam, we try to rehearse a bit, but primarily read number charts our guests bring in. Currently we are scheduled through December, but if we can get it rolling we'll do more into the new year hopefully, we've done this since July and it's picking up some steam. The next one is Nov. 14, currently there is no cover and we aim to keep it that way for awhile, and if we decide to charge later it won't be much! A website is under construction and I'll try to keep y'all updated, or find me on FB for more updates on this and other projects I'm involved in as a bassist and or singer songwriter!
