New song from Oildale's new CD, Rodeo Radio.
Howdy folks - today and tomorrow only we are offering our entire album Caffeine & Gasoline for only $2 on bandcamp. We are celebrating the 2 year anniversary of its release on 2/9/10. Working on new material and hope to release it in June or July. Here's the link to bandcamp: http://elliotrandall.bandcamp.com/album/caffeine-gasoline
Hey all you Americana ne'er-do-wells,
I got some good news! "Blossom in the Dust" (my new tune) just won Song of the Month for BMI...*and* I'm giving away a free download of it here to celebrate.

Massy Ferguson Gigs
Triple Door 2/25 & More
Massy Ferguson is a bar band in the best sense. The songs, filled with barflies, broken hearts and doomed late-night romance, would sound pretty good anywhere, though. Singer-bassist Ethan Anderson says the sound is Americana that leans more toward rock than country, and that's a pretty good description. Think Drive-By Truckers or some combination of Son Volt and The Hold Steady. Think Springsteen's "Greetings From Asbury Park" or "Nebraska." Those are all influences, as is 1970s Southern rock and good-time classic rock bands like Thin Lizzy.

Hey All,
Just wanted to put the word out that I am now being booked for house concerts through the end of April up and down the west coast. For those who don't know, house concerts are donation based events with no great cost to the host; all you need is a bit of space (25+ folks in your living room, patio, etc), refreshments and some enthusiastic friends who love music. There's no microphone or stage involved. Just me, my guitar and my songs along with you and your friends.
If you are interested in booking a show in your home, please contact my manager, Dianna Arnspiger, diannaarnspiger@gmail.com for more information on how it all works. Most of the shows will be solo appearances, but possibly a few can be duo or even trio. I would love to get back to some of the places we've played over the past few years, So. Cal. included. Depending on how this goes, we may expand to out of state appearances as well.
Kindly, ER
