Are you talking about "Ashes of American Flags" or "I am Trying To Break Your Heart"? IATTBYH is one of the best, no doubt, mostly following the separation of the late Jay Bennett from the band, and gave the viewer a good look under the covers. AOAF was touted as a documentary but it's a concert film and to be honest, I thought the DVD that came with the Sky Blue Sky CD was much better than AOAF.

It's on the Sundance Channel at 10 p.m. EDT Monday. Not having seen Wilco in concert, I enjoyed this doc, too, although I agree I Am Trying To Break Your Heart is far superior. Here's Sundance's synopsis:

I got it from Netflix right after Jay passed away. As rock docs go, it's pretty riveting.

Also check out "Shake it Off". Basically it is the rehearsal's for the "Sky Blue Sky" tour @ Tweedy's place. I think it was filmed/made by someone in Fugazi.

Hi all--long time No Depression reader here. I just reviewed the newer Wilco documentary and wanted to get other people's feedback about it, so figured I'd come here and search the message boards. I'd love to hear people's opinions of this (good or bad!)

I would also receommend the book "Wilco: Learning How to Die" by Greg Kot, who is also interviewed in IATTBYH, I believe.

There's also the one i've got , Jeff on a solo acoustic tour , is it Live In The Pacific North West ?
I'm not the biggest WILCO fan but i took a chance on that one and it's really god.
