Do we have a thread like this?...I went back 8 pages and didn't see anything...anyway...who have you seen lately?...small clubs, big concerts, house concerts, the guy in the park hoping for change in his guitar case...

I saw Jon Dee Graham and Jesse Sublett the other night doing Murder Ballads Saturday night at the Evangeline Cafe, then Lincoln Durham joined by Ray Wylie Hubbard's son Lucas and after that was the Resentments at the Saxon Pub...that's always a good show...James McMurtry and Jimmie Dale Gilmore will be doing a Haiti benefit show Wednesday at the Scholtz Bier Garten...

I would like to see that...I knew they were touring together...
I've seen a couple of good shows at the Santa Fe Brewing Company in recent days.

Last week I saw Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band.

I was supposed to see Buckwheat Zydeco at a great venue in Annapolis, MD...Rams Head On Stage but we got a "little snow storm" in our area. Sad but true! I saw Hoots and Hellmouth at another local place, 8X10 in Baltimore...my homebase. They were GREAT! Getting ready to see Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears in DC. Lots of stuff around town!
Black Joe Lewis is coming back to St. Louis March 6... can't wait!

Last night, Monday, was open mike at the Hotel Utah,
Friday will be Cypress String Quartet at the Herbst Theater, all of these in San Francisco,
Next Wednesday will be Marianne Faithful with Doug Pettibone @ Yoshi's, a jazz club in Oakland, Ca.
Really looking forward to that show. Doug Pettibone played with Lucinda Williams last time I saw her and he's a must see if you must see great guitar players.
Phish's New Year Eve run, The Word featuring Robert Randolph, John Medeski and The North Mississippi Allstars, Zappa Plays Zappa, Gov't Mule, Jason Ricci and New Blood, The Wailers, Brian Stoltz Band, The Brittany Reilly Band and this coming Saturday John Hiatt and next month, Wilco.
