Doesn't have to be a great revelation. Doesn't have to change the year in music. Could be old. Could be new. Just has to do it for this week. So what is doing it for you this week?

I revisited "Time (The Revelator)" by Gillian Welch this week. It's seriously blowing my mind.
One of my ALL TIME favorites.....

Mind blowing.....good description.
We Walk This Road by Robert Randolph & the Family Band. An absolutely killer album with T-Bone Burnett on board as producer.
Have there been any albums in the last 3/4 years that DON'T have ole T-Bone as producer !!!!
I don't think that T-Bone produced either Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson, although I may be mistaken.
Ten thousand comedians outta work and youse guys are crackin' jokes ... :-)
Well , he's got the Robert Plant AND the John Mellencamp still to come this year and thats only the one's i know about ......

If an artist gets to the age of 45 and hasn't had an album produced by T-Bone , Rick Rubin , Joe Henry or Daniel Lanois it's time to go back to pumping gas !!!!
He's Got Ryan Bingham to & Steve Earle later this Year or Early next year
Bloody hell , two of my favourites as well (and pretty similar ?) should be interesting to see if he changes their sound at all.....
Tony Joe White's Greatest Hits
Sandy Denny / Who Knows Where the Time Goes (the full 3 CD version)
John Mellencamp - On The Rural Route 7609
Disc 1 : been playing it all week and love it too much to even put the other discs on !
A much , much better artist than i'd ever given him credit for , i'm getting THE LONESOME JUBILEE next......
