A lot of good stuff coming out in 2011. What are you looking forward to?

I have already heard several albums from 2011 and of them the Wanda Jackson is a masterpiece, Jesse Brewster could be the "next big thing," and Chris Thomas King has one hell of a blues album on the way.

Also looking forward to hearing the new ones from Gregg Allman, the Drive-By Truckers (even though The Big To-Do was disappointing), The Nightwatchman (Tom Morello), Ted Russell Kamp, Amos Lee, and Nick 13's first solo album (should be getting advances of those last three.)

And I'm hoping that Ghost Brothers of Darkland County will finally be released this year. It is a collaboration between John Mellencamp and Stephen King that has been described as "an old time radio play with music" and the two-disc CD, produced by T-Bone Burnett, will feature Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson, Elvis Costello, Ryan Bingham, Rosanne Cash, Neko Case, Dave and Phil Alvin, and Sheryl Crow.

Just slipped a front row seat for Bela Fleck, Zakir Hussain and Edgar Meyer on April 10 onto my calender.

Nice to hear you mention the double disc that T-Bone produced with new music from Ryan Bingham and everyone else.

Also looking forward to the new  one from Greg Brown.

That John Mellencamp collaboration sounds pretty interesting,  are there previews of that anywhere?

I am fairly new to the community, where can I hear more about these "next big things"? I mean is there a site or station playing their music, or is it all research and recommendation?
