What album would you like to hear played in its entirety in concert?

It's time for another Modern Acoustic Readers' Poll! The more that participate, the more the fun (Remember Issue No. 19, your favorite guitar heroes??!!)

So here's the question:
A lot of musicians these days are playing their classic albums in their entirety in
concert. Springsteen is doing "Born to Run," Steely Dan's doing "Aja," "The Royal Scam," Van Morrison doing "Astral Weeks," etc...

Who would you like to see play one of their albums in its entirety. It doesn't have to be
a classic even. Just what artist, what album, and give a short explanation.

I'll print the list in my next issue, which will hopefully be sometime in Sept.

Cheers,
Rich

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Looked at my old Desert Island Disk list, and it's really hard to choose, but give me Dave Brubeck's Jazz Impressions of Eurasia, in my opinion his greatest album.
Well I'm new to this site and board...great thread though...what about M. Ward Hold Time, its new but brilliant all through, not a duffer on it.

Adams' - Heartbreaker a great shout, Seen the man live 8 times but the 2000 solo gig at King Tuts will be as near as I'll get to this.
Wow - what a bunch of great choices!! I'm really in a John Hiatt mood - so I'd go with any of these

- Walk On
- Bring The Family
- Slow Turning
As much as I have enjoyed Mary Lee's Corvette doing "Blood on the Tracks" from start to finish, I guess hearing / seeing Bob do it would be as good as it gets.

Chris
BR5-49, Telephone, the original lineup, and they don't even need to do the whole thing, they can stop after Hickory Wind.
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
RAINY DAY MUSIC - JAYHAWKS
Uncle Tupelo - 89/93 An Anthology ... but I think I don't stand a chance!
Ooo - nice call there
Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
Son Volt - Trace
Richard Buckner - Bloomed
I don't get it. Why would you want to go to a show to hear someone perform an album? If I want an album, I'll buy the album. I want to hear a band tailor a show to an audience. Get creative, be loose, be spontaneous, improvise, play the band's favorite songs. If I heard a band say "we're going to perform this album front to back" I'd probably leave.
