What album would you like to hear played in its entirety in concert?

It's time for another Modern Acoustic Readers' Poll! The more that participate, the more the fun (Remember Issue No. 19, your favorite guitar heroes??!!)

So here's the question:
A lot of musicians these days are playing their classic albums in their entirety in
concert. Springsteen is doing "Born to Run," Steely Dan's doing "Aja," "The Royal Scam," Van Morrison doing "Astral Weeks," etc...

Who would you like to see play one of their albums in its entirety. It doesn't have to be
a classic even. Just what artist, what album, and give a short explanation.

I'll print the list in my next issue, which will hopefully be sometime in Sept.

Cheers,
Rich

Poco's Deliverin with that albums lineup
SOOOOOO old school. But, yeah, that'd be nice!
Ryan Adams's "Heartbreaker."
Or Whiskeytown's "Strangers Almanac."
I would love to hear Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Will The Circle Be Unbroken in it's entirety played live. Now of course that would be impossible now with the original artists, but it would have made a hell of a concert....and what a line up.
There's a DVD of a show they did of part of Vol 3 which is pretty good.
The White Album - the Beatles

Do I really have to explain?
Here in San Diego there's a great cover band called Rockola that did just that last year to a soldout crowd at the Northpark Theatre. go to www.rockola.com and check them out. At this point, this may be all we get from the Beatles.
I saw that and they did a good job.
They also do entire shows of various other Beatles albums every so often. (Abbey Road, Revolver, Rubber Soul, etc)
Whiskeytown - Faithless Street.
I'm stuck between two choices at the moment -
Patty Loveless - Mountain Soul and Brandi Carlile - The Story.
Old 97's Too Far To Care. TFTC is strong from start to finish. The songs range from the quiet, contemplative "Salome" to the power pop of "Streets of Where I'm From" & "Niteclub" to the charming country twang of "W. Tx Teardrops" to the full-on power of rock on "Four Leaf Clover" & their signature closer "Timebomb" (ironically the first cut on the disc). Not a bad tune in the bunch from a foursome who defy pigeon-holing. If this disc doesn't have you off the couch, screaming along and dancing like a white guy...then you' need to check your pulse.
