Well, for me right now, it's Jason Isbell's "Go It Alone". What an absolutely killer song. A minor-key powerhouse with an anthemic, head-turning hook of a chorus. Lyrically--I can't quite figure out its meaning. As a songwriter, I kind of like doing that. It's either a breakup kind of song, or perhaps a tale of coming off an addiction? You know, it's songs like these that just make it damn fun to get up the morning.
