Hey all, tomorrow in PDX we've got the Jayhawks. The next night, Wilco. You can only go to one show--so which one would it be? I can't decide! Help!

You never know how long the Jawhawks will tour so it could be your last chance to see them, but you never really know for sure. Wilco never disappoints live (at least as far as I'm concerned). Personally I think I'd go for Wilco if I could only see one. But that's just me.

Permalink Reply by Randy Brown on February 7, 2012 at 1:37am Jayhawks for me, but either would be great.
Permalink Reply by RP N10 on February 7, 2012 at 3:19am Wilco. The Jayhawks are fine live but their new record's not so great IMO. Wilco are moving forward and creating. My 10 € cents.

I really didn't need to read that review! Wilco sold out--but that's my first choice and I'm trying to get tix right now through Craigslist. So far, no luck. See what happens when you hesitate?
Permalink Reply by Robin Richey on February 7, 2012 at 9:20am I would pick Wilco. We saw them last week and the show was great.
Having seen Wilco 5 times (once after each of their new album releases), the last time the night after their Austin City Limits taping, AND having already seen Jeff Tweedy solo acoustic, this time I think I'd opt for the Jayhawks. Not that I'd be happy missing Wilco, but I gotta remember there is other great music out there. I'm a big fan of the Jayhawks harmonies and their catalogue!
