Is there one song you have to hear again as soon as it's over? Mine is Mark Knopfler's Song for Sonny Liston,

He had a left like Henry's Hammer

                                A Right like Betty Bam-a-lam

He rode with the muggers in the dark and dread

And all of them sluggers went down like lead

I cannot listen to this hypnotic song without hitting the repeat button.

Yeah, every so often a song grabs me that way.  Here's a few off the top of my head...

Someday House by Greg Brown - the lyrics, vocals - his cadence, and the guitar sounds!

My Lucky Day by Jon Dee Graham - love the guitars and lyrics, especially where he hears Neil Young, The Who, the Clash, all in a row...

Lonely Boy by the Black Keys - what first hooked me is the opening riff, the first 15 seconds or so, which is repeated at about 2:30 into the song. Beyond that monster riff, love the vocals, lead and background, and the way the song just cruises along.
