I've been scrolling through the iTunes library looking for songs to add to new playlists. Here is my #1 playlist. Please give me a hand by adding some of yours so I can break out of this rut that I'm in. I'll thank you and my lovely wife will also thank you ("Play somethin' else!!!).

I hope I'm not the first person to reply to this forum-- seems like a laudable project. Maybe it's just the way that I accessed it.

Playlists are for the purpose of matching a particular mood. Sometimes I am not even sure what to call it-- the mood or the list. Here's a short playlist, in progress, that I just call "Those Songs" :

Thanks, Randy. I'll put this list on my iPod. You and I have quite a bit in common. I like kickin' it off with Bruce -- "Lyin out there like a killer in the sun, Hey I know it's late we can make it if we run." I've got a picture of my daughter, Amy, 2 years old, holding the lp of Born To Run. Just finished listening to Robbie Fulks' Fountains Of Wayne Hotline. :)

This is not my favorite playlist, but what I like to do when I can't decide what to listen to is use iTunes DJ and have it randomly make a playlist for me. I just generated one and here is what it made for me:

Jeff, hadn't heard "Big Hair" in a while so I just listened to it again. Great fun! In the 80's even the guys had big hair!

Fred was recently in Ithaca , NY - not to far from me. Some friends who have seen him many times went to the show and said it was one of his best. His backing band had Tif Ginn of the Ginn sisters in it and my friends were blown away by her.
