As part of a Christmas present, I got a VIP pass for a meet and greet with Rodney here in his hometown of Houston a couple of weeks ago. There were only two of us with passes so we were invited to visit with Rodney on his bus before the show. He is amazingly down to earth and friendly.

Sure thing. That's really cool. I wasn't interested in Crowell until I heard this interview. He has such a mellow voice. Looking forward to reading the book. Great photo, are those Crowell's parents on the cover there? If so, he looks just like his dad!

Yes, that's JW and Cauzette. I'm reading the book now. It is particularly interesting for us Houston natives. Lots of references to times gone by.
