Now that we've joined the No Depression community, we thought it would be great to have a No Depression button for websites. You know, like those social networking Facebook/Twitter/Whatever buttons that people have all over their pages these days. So here are the buttons we developed. They're pretty simple but they do the trick. Anyone else want to add No Depression buttons of their own?

PS: The button entitled "ndmacbutton.jpg" is the nice, shiny kind of button that seems so popular these days.

To see these buttons in action, check out Hearth Music's website:

http://www.hearthmusic.com/concerts.html

We've got the buttons up at the top of the page. Each button links directly to some kind of social networking site, though we've created custom buttons as well to link to some of our other projects. Click on the "ND" button and you go straight to Hearth Music's No Depression profile. Usually you just see Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace buttons on people's pages, but we thought it would be fun to have a No Depression button as well.

For other examples of how these little buttons work:

Bumbershoot: on the front page, look under "Follow Us" and you'll see some circular buttons
http://bumbershoot.org/

Telluride Bluegrass Festival: go to the bottom of the page and you'll see the tiny buttons
http://www.bluegrass.com/telluride/

Once you start looking, you'll see these buttons all over the place. Even No Depression has them on most of their pages.

Enjoy!

looks like the back end of a box of no name tampons..I don`t quite get it.,
Hmm, don't get the comparison. If you look up at the URL on a No Depression webpage, you can see the tiny little "ND" or "No Depression" graphic that these buttons are based on.
Here's a standard 80 x 15 button I made some time ago. Right-click to copy it with "Save Image As..."
