I've been reading reviews for the new Del McCoury album "Old Memories: The Songs of Bill Monroe" since it came out on vinyl late last year & anxiously waiting for the CD version. Luckily, it finally came out TODAY! I just wanted to pass along the link that a friend sent me. You can get an autographed copy if you order online at www.delmccouryband.com.

Has anyone else heard it yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

Hope y'all love it as much as I do!

I think it's real good. You can tell Del is getting older, but his voice still sounds good. Ronnie McCury nails that Monroe style mandolin. I'd say it's a real solid and worthwhile traditional bluegrass album. Plus, everyone else plays real well, too. The banjo solos are pretty solid, and Jason Carter sounds great on the fiddle, as always.

Definitely worth getting!
