i'm 44 years old and have been a newbury fan as long as i can remember, thanks to my dad.i have several of his lp's[well worn out for years]and have searched record shops all over the country through the years finding few people who had ever heard of him let alone where to find any of his music in the cd format.well a few months ago i broke down and joined the information age and bought a laptop and got on the internet, which has been a whole new experience in education itself [i thought trying to learn to play mandolin at 40 was a landmark accomplishment,at least i could play guitar from an early age,not professionally just for fun] but i'm starting to get it.i went to e-bay and found treasures of music there, that is where i first seen the box set, the guy started bidding at 150$,saying it was no longer available.i called my dad to see if he thought i should bid,he said why dont you see if mickey has a website and i did and there it was for 100$,so i called the #to see if it was available and chris newbury called back and assured it was.havent got it yet,but am looking forward to enjoying it with my dad and our guitars like we did almost 40 years ago.thanks for this website im new to it but look forward to making new friends with same interests.curt

the box set is a really great archival gathering-place for mickey's career works. glad you found it, and that you're able to get it directly from the source. there will be many hours of wonderful listening experiences awaiting you in the very near future.
