Jay Farrar & Benjamin Gibbard - One Fast Move Or I'm Gone Review

I don't know about you all but I am loving this Farrar & Gibbard album. Full review on GLONO but suffice it to say this is a BUY album. Thoughts?

Thanks for mentioning this album--I'm going to check out a few of the youtube clips to get a feel for the record. And while were at it, Son Volt deserves a special plug after their latest round of shows and the new album. If you happen to be a longtime Son Volt/Farrar fan feeling a bit less enthused over the last 5 or 10 years, check out the new band. I think Farrar and company are playing some of their best live music ever, as does the guy who wrote the review at the following link: http://www.ccsbandwagon.com/ You'll need to scroll down to Dec 9, but it's a heartfelt review by a fan who knows his Son Volt.
Dirk, I was blown away by the most recent SV show in Austin. I was tired that night and not sure I could take a slow, droning show, but what I got was amazing. I love ACD and the live version outdid the album. They played almost everything on it but Sultana. The energy with the new guitarist was amazing. Wow is all I can say.

(Having said that, I am going to skip the Gibbard/Farrar Prozac fest when their One Fast Move tour rolls through town in January.)
